Immo off Bosch MED17.8.10: DR
The BOSCH MED17.8.10 is a TriCore-based petrol engine control unit used in modern DR vehicles. It integrates advanced torque management, electronic throttle control, and encrypted immobilizer synchronization between ECU, BCM, and key transponder systems.
When immobilizer synchronization fails due to:
- BCM failure
- Lost key data
- ECU corruption
- Vehicle wiring damage
- The engine will crank but not start, or the ECU will block injection and ignition authorization.
Our MED17.8.10 Immo Off service for DR disables the immobilizer function directly inside the ECU software. This allows the engine to start independently of the factory immobilizer system.
What Is MED17.8.10 Immo Off?
Immo Off means:
- The immobilizer verification process inside the ECU firmware is permanently deactivated.
- The ECU no longer requires key or BCM authorization to enable injection.
- The vehicle can start even if the immobilizer module is defective or missing.
This is NOT Immo Virgin.
Immo Virgin resets the ECU to factory pairing state and requires reprogramming to a vehicle.
Immo Off permanently removes immobilizer dependency.
These are two completely different procedures and must not be confused.
